Illinois Squash

a.k.a White Crookneck Pumpkin. Large(up to 20 lbs) cushaw squash. Cream colored skin and white flesh. Cylindrical with bulbous end containing the seeds. Many were 3' long. Vigorous vines to 16' long with large leaves covered and shaded a chicken run. Good for baking or sauteing. Very easy to peel. Seeds are large and probably good for roasting. Supposedly given to Abraham Lincoln's parents by a friend.
