Requires long growing season, typically 85-120 days. Often a quite rare heirloom, Rubine purple/red sprouts are often sweeter and more tender than traditional green Brussels Sprouts. The heads average 1 ½ to 2 inches in diameter. Grows to 24" tall. Often a garden show piece. Best planted in late Fall or early Spring.
