Sirvinta wheat

Hard red winter wheat well-adapted for northern forest soils (as opp. to prairie soils); collected for me in a market in Tallin, Estonia (although Sirvinta is a river in Lithuania); has become a very popular variety in Maine.

We Lithuanians do know how to grow food. My Mocuite (Grandma) could grow 2 meter high corn on a curb lawn on the top of Mt. McKinley! Probably no problem with a neighborly Estonian wheat as well...

A truly tall tail.
