Dry bean. Kidney bean shape, tan with maroon steaks. Half-runner with 4-6' vines. Beans are standard to large cooking size. These are one of my favorites as they are both productive and early enough for a decent crop of dry beans, even in northern Vermont. I received these from Leigh Hurley and are she named after Littleton, NH. You can read more about the history of this bean at http://theextremegardener.com/?p=70
